We operate the Mequeres and MOOQ application, as well as the accompanying website at www.mequeres.com (referred to here as the "online platform").
We are deeply committed to protecting children and adolescents from any form of sexual exploitation or abuse. Consequently, we strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse, exploitation, or inappropriate content involving minors on our services.
These Child Safety Standards (“Standards”) describe the measures we take to keep our platform secure and the rules all users must follow.
1. Zero-Tolerance Policy Toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
1.1. Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) covers any content or activity involving exposure, sexual exploitation, or harm to minors. This includes grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking of minors for sexual purposes, and all other forms of abuse.
1.2. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) includes images, videos, or other visual depictions of a minor engaging in sexually explicit behavior.
1.3. We adopt a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding CSAE and CSAM. Any content that exposes, promotes, or depicts sexual harm to minors is prohibited. Such material will be immediately removed, and we will take further action, including contacting the relevant authorities.
2. Strictly Prohibited Activities and Content
2.1. The following types of content and conduct are prohibited under any circumstances:
- Any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE).
- Uploading, sharing, or distributing CSAM in any format.
- Publishing or sharing links to external sources containing CSAM.
- Engaging in or encouraging sexual discussions involving minors.
- Attempting to groom minors for the purpose of abuse or sexual exploitation.
2.2. Materials or discussions related to these prohibited activities are not allowed, even if intended for awareness or reporting purposes.
2.3. We understand that some users may share photos of their children (such as family moments). However, such images must be appropriate and legal. If users share photos of minors in their profiles or messages, the children must be fully clothed (this guideline also applies to photos from the user's own childhood).
3. Reporting Issues or Concerns
3.1. We encourage all users to report any violations of these Standards.
3.2. You can report violations or raise concerns through the following methods:
- Using the in-app reporting feature.
- Contacting our support team via email: android@mequeres.com.
4. How We Enforce These Standards
4.1. If we become aware of the presence of CSAM on our platform, we will remove the content immediately, in compliance with legal requirements and our internal policies.
4.2. We investigate all reports diligently and strive to resolve them quickly.
4.3. Violation of these Standards may result in:
- Removal of illegal content.
- Suspension or permanent termination of the user’s account.
- Referral to relevant authorities, if necessary.
We reserve the right to take any additional measures we deem necessary to maintain the platform’s security.
5. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
5.1. In compliance with applicable child protection laws, we report any identified or confirmed CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other global organizations combating child exploitation.
5.2. We actively work with law enforcement agencies to assist in investigations and prosecutions involving child sexual abuse or exploitation. When necessary, we provide relevant data to ensure that offenders are held accountable under the law.
6. Updates to These Standards
We may modify or update these Standards at any time to ensure compliance with new laws, regulations, and best practices in preventing child exploitation.
The last updated date will always be available at the top of this document. By continuing to use the app or online platform after the updates take effect, you agree to abide by the revised Standards.
